BYU Recruiting: QB Tanner McKee meets Condoleezza Rice during Stanford official visit
Four-Star QB is nearing decision time
Will Tanner McKee take an official visit to BYU?
The highest rated Pro-Style quarterback who remains uncommitted in the class of 2018 is Corona Centennial (CA) QB Tanner McKee.
McKee, who is LDS, has been a player that BYU has coveted before McKee even became the starting quarterback at his high school.
But with the Cougars’ disastrous 4-9 season. and with a stronger push from David Shaw and Stanford, McKee has seemed to place the Cardinal near the top of his choices and not BYU.
Adam Gorney from Rivals spoke with McKee to recap his recent official visit to Stanford and McKee said that during his official visit, he met Stanford graduate and College Football Playoff committee member Condoleezza Rice.
Is it time for BYU graduate Mitt Romney to get involved in this recruitment of the nation’s top QB? Who knows. But the top question for BYU is if they can nail down a date for McKee to take an official visit to Provo this month.
