BYU women’s soccer didn’t experience the success in 2017 that they’ve grown accustomed to in previous seasons.

Despite a season that is viewed as a dip for Jen Rockwood’s program, the Cougars have still produced two pros from last year’s team.

Defender Taylor Isom was selected by the hometown Utah Royals in the second round of the NWSL Draft, 14th pick overall. Isom was the first true defender off the board in the draft.

Then in the following round, forward Nadia Gomes was selected by the Orlando Pride with the 23rd overall pick.
