BYU defeated Loyola Marymount on Thursday night with a solid 82-67 win to move to 5-2 in West Coast Conference play.  The biggest concern coming out of the victory was the status of BYU starting point guard Jahshire Hardnett who went down in the 1st half with what appeared to be a knee injury.

Dave Rose in his postgame press conference said that Hardnett knocked knees and that the issue with Hardnett’s knee was pain related.

Rose continued by saying he was hopeful that Hardnett would be able to play this Saturday when BYU hosts San Diego at 7 p.m.
