Viliami Tausinga, Jaylon Vickers, and Beau Robinson
The BYU Football program received some positive news on the recruiting trail this past weekend as a trio of local high school prospects committed to the Cougars.
The three players that committed:
- Linebacker Viliami Tausinga | East High (UT)
- Cornerback Jaylon Vickers | East High (UT)

Of the three players that committed, only Tausinga holds a scholarship offer from BYU. Robinson and Vickers will compete as preferred walk-ons.
Tausinga’s commitment gave BYU a slight boost in the Rivals.com team rankings for the Class of 2018. BYU was as low as 90th in the team rankings, now up to 85th after the Tausinga commitment.
