Linebacker Fred Warner is BYU’s best chance of seeing a player selected in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Warner is likely to be selected and in the Draft and according to DraftAnalyst.com’s Tony Pauline, the Washington Redskins have emerged as a team that is interested in the former BYU standout.

Pauline had this to say about Warner’s first day at practice down in Mobile:

I liked what Warner showed today. He was fast and fluid, quickly got to the spot and covered a lot of area on the field. I also liked the discipline and smarts he showed, making sure his teammates were in the proper position.

The Redskins have some good linebackers in place already with Ryan Kerrigan and Zach Brown as starters.  Former Utah State Aggie Zach Vigil is also with the Redskins as well in their linebacking unit.

Washington holds one draft pick in each of the seven rounds in the draft.

Which NFL franchise would you like to see select, Fred Warner?
