Three-Star recruit Amone Finau out of Kearns High School is a top priority for the BYU coaching staff leading up to the real Signing Day on Wednesday, February 7th.

Finau took in an official visit to BYU this past weekend and he went to Twitter to update his followers on what he learned.

Hey!  LaVell’s Vanilla and Rockwood Cherry are nothing to slouch at when it comes to ice cream.  But I’m with Amone on this one, BYU girls are definitely better than the ice cream being scooped up at the Creamery on Ninth.

Finau, who recently returned home from an LDS mission, is clearly looking for his future bride.  What better place than BYU?  Advantage: Kalani Sitake and the Cougars.

In all seriousness, Finau is a talented kid.  His brother is Sione Finau, a running back from Kearns, who signed with BYU in 2016.  Amone signed with Utah out of high school in 2014 when Kalani Sitake and Ilaisa Tuiaki were there.

Finau will be one of the bigger names to keep an eye on for BYU’s 2018 class leading up to Signing Day.
