The video above is the 2018-19 BYU Basketball roster as of right now with the news that Elijah Bryant will forego his senior year and declare for the NBA Draft.

By no means is the 2018-19 roster complete, but we have three big questions remaining that will help us get a clearer picture of what next year’s Cougar Cager group will look like.

1. Will Yoeli Childs return?

Yoeli Childs has been offered a $150,000 guaranteed contract to play for an international team. If he comes back to BYU, we will know he’s turning down six figures to play for the Cougars.  Is there enough appeal at BYU to make Yoeli want to turn down the money.

2. What is Nick Emery’s status?

Nick Emery withdrew from school and left the BYU Basketball program to focus on personal matters and also not be a distraction to his teammates with the NCAA looking into an improper benefits case involving Emery.  He has been reportedly seen at the Marriott Center Annex working out recently and head coach Dave Rose has said that he wants Emery back.  But in no way is it a slam dunk that Emery is back.

3. Transfers & New Faces

Will there be any players that decide to transfer or Dave Rose decides to let go of from the program? Also, will the heralded prospect from Russia, Agasiy Tonoyan pass the TOEFL test to become eligible this season to join the Cougars?  Time will tell.
