In case you didn’t know, BYU started six freshmen on offense on the opening drive of the game on Saturday.
The starting freshmen included: Zach Wilson, Lopini Katoa, Gunner Romney, Brady Christensen, Keanu Saleapaga, and James Empy.
Wilson completed 16 of 24 pass attempts for 124 yards and three passing touchdowns. He also rushed six times for 16 yards with a touchdown. Katoa had 16 rushing attemps for 83 yards and a touchdown. Romney had two receptions for 39 yards and a touchdown. Along with them another freshman Dallin Holker had 13 yards with another touchdown scored for BYU on Saturday.
For reference 35 of the 49 points scored for BYU last Saturday were by freshmen.
BYU has a lot to look forward to with this freshman class in the coming years.
