Men's Hoops At No. 3 in WCC Polls

Its that time of year again where basketball starting making its way to the top of everyones mind, and polls have already came out.

The WCC season poll is out and BYU is ranked third with 67 votes, just one behind Saint Mary’s  at number with 68 votes. Gonzaga is leading the way at number one with a whopping 81 votes.

Meanwhile, junior forward Yoeli Childs was named to the All-WCC preseason team. But it doesn’t stop there for him.

The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame announced Childs is one of the 20 watch list members for the 2019 Karl Malone Power Forward of the Year Award. The annual honor recognizes the top power forwards in Division I men’s college basketball. It is based on a a national committee, making up top college basketball personnel. They then determine the watch list.
