BYU Women's Volleyball Remains No. 1

BYU Women’s volleyball is on their seventh week of being No. 1 as they continue to remain undefeated in play.

With less than a month less of regular season, the Cougars are on the path to taking it all. The women have swept the last four opponents including: San Francisco, Santa Clara, Loyola Marymount, and Pepperdine.

One of the key players for this team are Lyndie Haddock-Eppich, who was just named the WCC player of the week for the second time in a row.

Other players include, McKenna Miller, who picked up her 1,000 kill of her career on Saturday against the Waves, and Heather Gneiting.

Haddock-Eppich has 53 kills, 711 assists, 157 digs and 58 blocks so far this season.

Gneiting has hit 117 kills, 15 aces, 21 digs and 79 blocks.

Miller has tacked on 207 kills, 20 serving aces and 23 digs in 2018.

The team now takes on Portland in Oregon on Thursday. The game begins at 8 p.m. Mountain Time.
