BYU Announces Home-and-Home With Arkansas

BYU and the University of Arkansas have announced to a home-and-home football series in 2022 and 2023. This will be the first time BYU will play Arkansas.

The Razorbacks head to LaVell Edwards Stadium on Oct. 15, 2022. Along with that, The Cougars are scheduled to play at Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville, Arkansas, on Sept. 23, 2023.

This will be the first meeting between the two teams.

BYU athletic director, Tom Holmoe, said:

“It will be a road trip BYU fans will not want to miss. I look forward to the Razorbacks and Cougars battling for the first time when we host Arkansas in Provo in 2022.

If you remember about a month ago, Holmoe announced to keep your eyes out about an exciting game he landed. Well, this is it!

This will be the third SEC team to play in Provo.

  • Mississippi State (2000 & 2016)
  • Missouri (2020)

With the home-and-home with Arkansas now scheduled here’s what the 2022 schedule looks like:

 

Sept. 3: @ Utah

Sept. 10: Baylor

Sept. 17: @ Oregon

Sept. 24 Wyoming

Sept. 30: Utah State

Oct. 15: Arkansas

Oct 22: Liberty

Nov. 5: Boise State

Nov. 19: East Carolina

Nov. 26: @ Stanford
