BYU vs Boise State Recap: With Wilson At The Reigns, BYU Will Be Just Fine

2016:

Ahh, the famous 4th and 19 play with punter Johnny Linehan happened this game, and honestly, this is the first thing people remember about this game.  Which is unfortunate, because this was actually a really good game to watch. Linehan still handles it like a champ though.

Boise State came out with an upset victory over the Cougs this game, with a 28-27 win on the Smurf Turf at Albertsons Stadium.

Taysom Hill started this game going 21/41with 187 yards. Hill also had 13 carries for 48 yards.

Jamaal Williams was out hurt this game, which was a shame, because with him, they might have had a better chance at scoring. Squally Canada, though, was the leading rusher this game.

Boise State had two touchdowns to start the game. BYU had 17 points in the second quarter to the Broncos seven. BYU then answered back again with a touchdown in the third, but couldn’t hold the Broncos off in the fourth as Boise State gained another touchdown to win the game.

This one was an amazing game to watch.
