The world-renowned Tennis Channel has taken a significant step to strengthen its presence in Spain by partnering with the ATP and the Royal Spanish Tennis Federation (RFET). These new agreements aim to boost the visibility of lower-tier professional tennis tournaments held throughout the country.
As of 2025, Tennis Channel — the global multimedia platform devoted entirely to tennis and the new exclusive home of the WTA Tour in Spain — will add more than 55 professional tournaments to its programming lineup thanks to these partnerships.
This expansion comes alongside a new original series debuting this month for Spanish subscribers. VIP Tennis Lounge, hosted by former Wimbledon and Roland Garros champion Garbiñe Muguruza, premiered exclusively on Tennis Channel. Filmed during the Miami Open, the series features exclusive interviews with top tennis stars, including Carlos Alcaraz, Paula Badosa, Conchita Martínez, Carla Suárez, Alejandro Davidovich, Roberto Bautista, and Argentina’s Francisco Cerúndolo.
Global Growth Through ATP Partnership
The agreement with the ATP also marks a major milestone in the international reach of the ATP Challenger Tour. Starting in 2025, Tennis Channel will broadcast 35 of the top Challenger events globally, bringing high-quality tennis to millions of fans across multiple continents. These tournaments will be available not only in Spain but also in Austria, France, Germany, India, the Netherlands, Switzerland, the UK, and the United States.
Among these standout events are two prestigious Spanish competitions: the Sevilla Cup and the Faulcombridge Cup in Valencia, both classified as Challenger 125 tournaments. The expanded coverage will include center court singles and doubles matches, while original content will focus on the unique identity and stories behind the Challenger Tour. This will include in-depth player features, offseason training segments, and expert analysis designed to elevate the profile of the tour across social media and digital platforms.
Tennis Channel Joins the RFET Family
Simultaneously, Tennis Channel has signed a three-year collaboration agreement with the RFET, further integrating itself into Spain’s national tennis ecosystem. In addition to covering the ATP Challenger events in Sevilla and Valencia, the platform will also stream five key matches — two quarterfinals, two semifinals, and the final — from seven additional men’s Challenger tournaments and eight WTA 125 events held in Spain.
With these comprehensive agreements, Tennis Channel continues to position itself as a central player in the evolution and global promotion of professional tennis, providing fans in Spain and around the world with greater access to the sport’s rising stars and most exciting tournaments.
